2026 Fireside Chat with Dr. Sherry Xian

CBA hosted a fireside chat at Stanford with Dr. Sherry Xian (鲜翾), Chief AI Officer at TYK Medicines (TongYuanKang). Dr. Xian traced an unusual path — a PhD in psychology from the University of Chicago, a neurobiology postdoc at Stanford, and a decade at Cornell, before moving to China to lead data and AI at iCarbonX, then GenSci Pharmaceutical, and now TYK. She spoke candidly about her move from neuroscience to data science to AI drug discovery, building AI drug discovery teams at GenSci and TYK, and the AI drug discovery landscape across China's pharma industry.
